In #Fedilab, the built-in browser is called "Custom tabs" which makes no sense with its goal. We will rename it simply "built-in browser".

But it is not a built-in browser, but uses the "custom tabs" functionality of chromium-based browsers.
The name "custom tabs" is not known to most people, so this is not working as label, but "built-in browser" is neither; it's as best misleading.
Unfortunately I am not creative enough to come up with something better on the spot, so I am just sharing my thoughts.

Well, they could turn around the option and call it "open links in external browser" maybe. Then it doesn't matter what the opposite is called.

The "custom tabs" feature is not only available in chromium-based browsers. Firefox for Android also provides it.
But I agree that "built-in" browser can be misleading. Maybe "load links in-app" or "in-app browser" (as Telegram names it, for instance) would work better.
