Ben Bristow<p>Last one for today. Alexis Rockman: Manifest Destiny (2004). </p><p>This 24-foot mural was at the Brooklyn Museum long ago, but I found it as an exhibit book at the old Strand Annex. I loved it, and framed the fold-out. Not only did this brighten my home decor, it gave friends and family a head start on new Brooklyn waterfront real estate. That's not easy to get. </p><p><a href="https://www.brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/alexis_rockman/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions</span><span class="invisible">/alexis_rockman/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Art" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Art</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Mastoart" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastoart</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Surrealism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Surrealism</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Dystopia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Dystopia</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/EnvironmentalArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EnvironmentalArt</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BrooklynMuseum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BrooklynMuseum</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Brooklyn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Brooklyn</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ClimateChange" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ClimateChange</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/AlexisRockman" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AlexisRockman</span></a></p>
