Now that we're in doomscrolling times maybe I should go back and re-read #PKD, some of whose ouevre I last read almost 50 years ago. People tend to forget how much of what he wrote was set not in post-apocalyptic wastelands (though he did those too) but in grinding hyperinflation societies and the like.

Blade Runner (1982) #tercinema

Muitas obras do Philip K Dick viraram clássicos absolutos do cinema e televisão. Vários contos viraram filmes, como Total Recal e Minority Report, e também teve livro que acabou virando série, como O Homem do Castelo Alto.

A parte do ser uma adaptação melhor que a fonte original é um pouco subjetiva na minha opinião, pq não é fácil adaptar entre mídias diferentes. Não acho que derivar (dentro do aceitável) da base é sempre um crime, e não acho que a adaptação precise ser 100% fiel, se isso pode ajudar a melhorar a experiência da narrativa cinematográfica.

Dito tudo isso (palestrinha), vou deixar a indicação do meu filme favorito, que é uma adaptação do livro "Androides sonham com Ovelhas Elétricas?", do Philip K Dick: Blade Runner, o Caçador de Androides.

Lento, com algumas cenas problemáticas, e alguns diriam até chato (aff haha), mas acho que poucos filmes capturaram a minha imaginação como o filme original de 82.

Me agrada muito a mudança dos androides sintéticos do livro para a versão dos Replicantes do filme: humanos produzidos em laboratório, com um curto prazo de vida (não são robôs! ), manipulados por memórias artificiais.

E a grande vantagem do filme sobre o livro, é a trilha sonora do Vangelis, que é uma obra prima por sí só!

Enfim, recomendíssimo pra quem nunca viu (e não ta esperando um filme de tiro e ação). Já vi mil vezes, e vou ver mil outras mais!

Mas ao se envolver no caso e nos segredos corporativos da Tyrel Corp., a empresa que manufatura os Replicantes, Deckart acaba questionando verdades absolutas sobre sua profissão e sobre sí próprio.
