Ivor<p>I've left the sheep behind and have delivered Eve over to the gift shop in Blanchland for the day. Come and bother her and spend your money! </p><p>I'm waiting for a call from a ranger from North Pennines National Landscape who wants to meet me to get some advice from me about something over at Middlehope, in Weardale. Wen<p>A little bit of delicate river work.</p><p>Lending a hand to our neighbours (and his mum and dad), the dug does the delicate work of shifting some lambs who are still at that stage where they are not sure whether they should run from him or mob him. Ewes and lambs came over to me then looked hopefully back towards the farmhouse as if expecting that the farmer with food was following behind me. Jackson<p>Lambs!</p><p>Tina had a single and Harriett had twins. </p><p>Harriett's were just born today. </p><p>I got to pick up both of them so we could weigh them and put iodine on their umbilical cords.</p><p>They're not my sheep; I am only sheep-adjacent. </p><p>I also got to visit my friend Miggy, the little lamb who was born during our last cold snap. He has lost both of his back hooves due to extreme cold exposure during his first few hours of life (he's the one who got out of the barn and was running around in the snow until he was exhausted, and we were bottle feeding him for a little while). But he's 25 lbs now and growing like a weed. He has a very good mama who provides a lot of milk.</p><p>We're hoping that we can get him a progression of carts so he can start to move around more. He won't be able to get prosthetics for his back feet until he's fully grown.
