Ich habe mir zum spielen ein #surfshark #VPN zugelegt. Bin gespannt was es mir am mehrwert liefert. Ein Punkt was es mir schon gebracht hat ist das testen meiner #Firewall mit einer extern IP Adresse.
Aber als dauerhaftes Tool ist der mehrwert naja.

I've now had to send #Surfshark FIVE please refund me emails, each one they've responded to with 'How about we DON'T refund you? Keep using us, we're GREAT!'
SO, I just threatened them with my lawyers to try and get my money back from them.
NEVER USE SURFSHARK.
NEVER USE THEIR "TRIAL"
NEVER.
They are officially worse than #VirginMedia now and I don't say that lightly.
Fuck me - trying to get a refund from #Surfshark is a complete pain in the arse.
They have a retention squad as determined as #VirginMedia.
I would thoroughly NOT recommend them to anyone based on the insane amount of captchas when you use them *and* the 'free trial cancel easily' is not true.
They make it an absolute, multi-email, multi-day pain to cancel.
Thank you #SurfShark for acting like a grown-up!.

Update: I’m currently connected “from the US” via #SurfShark VPN and still can’t access Threads. Anyone tried another VPN and succeeded?
Are they are trying to keep anyone in the #EuropeanUnion from joining‽ 
I guess I will only use #SurfShark for banking & streaming, but not for anything #Google related, or for use upon two social networks (Threads & #CounterSocial).

The last several weeks I've had to keep constantly switching #NordVPN servers to sustain significant activity on my phone, and I've just had enough of it now, so the last few days relied on my backup #RiseupVPN free option, with a single server over in Paris, France (lol) but it's *flying* and I've been using the web and apps loading without stalling interruptions. Only a temporary fix, of course. Will probably switch to #Surfshark when my #VPN renewal comes up. No idea why Nord deteriorated so much in recent months.
