Recovery Operations in Lithuania March 29 Update

More assets have been brought in to support the ongoing recovery operations for four missing U.S. Soldiers. The recovery team was joined by Polish engineers and a specialized U.S. Navy dive team to recover the M88A2 Hercules found on March 26, which remains submerged under at least 15 feet of water, clay-like mud, and silt.

We regret any confusion about remarks @SecGenNATO delivered on this today,' a NATO spokesperson announced on Wednesday, referring to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte's remarks earlier that day noting 'four American soldiers who were killed,' per NBC News. Rutte 'was not confirming the fate of the missing, which is still unknown,' the NATO rep now says.
