If I have to open the browser's dev tools, dig through the DOM to find where you've set the background colour of the page, and then change it manually, just to be able to read what you've written, you have failed utterly at web design, user experience, and accessibility simultaneously.

When applying a thick border around an element in multiple colors, the corners meet at a 45-degree angle forming a diamond. That is established and seems reasonable.

But, when you set a thick edge on one side, the thin 1px border gets squeezed into a slope, and won't reach the edge! And the sidebar forms a *trapezoid*!

This is most noticable on modern high-DPI screens. It is rather unsatisfying, and hard to unsee...

Ich vermute einen Bug? Das kann keine Absicht sein.

PS: Farb-Kontrast des Ergebnis-Farbtons zu Hintergrund laut Webdeveloper-Tools (nach WCAG): 1,61 – akzeptabel wäre ein Wert von 4,5; sehr gut wäre 7.
