Continuing a baby blanket for a friend.

The pattern is a monogrammed blanket out of Erika Knight's "Simple Knits for Cherished Babies" and my usual yarn is Knit Picks Shine Worsted in colors Dandelion (bright yellow) and Pea Pod (bright green).

I have completed 210 rows.  I will continue to use up the yellow yarn then some garter stitch border and bind-off. I did a green stripe with the purled monogram because I figure it'll be sturdier than intarsia.

When I first started to crochet, I was very soon asked if I could make baby stuff. I was very reluctant, because that's really not my jam but I found that baby blankets with an interesting pattern are ok. Within 5 years I made 14 Babyblankets. Phew.
Out of the 14, 8 were some shade of pink or rose. At one point I was begging my friends to please not ask for pink and let me make a blanket in a different color. :D Bonus Picture in the Collage of a Dinosaur Baby Hat.

I have completed 150 rows and have purled in the monogram. I have also switched back to the yellow yarn from the green yarn. I am just doing a green stripe with purled monogram because I figure it'll be sturdier than intarsia.
