Modelle statt Bounded Contexts? Eine Alternative für fachliche Modularisierung
Modelle statt Bounded Contexts? Eine Alternative für fachliche Modularisierung
Happy to report that there were zero incidents at the customs. I even had what passes as a friendly conversation with the agent.
Now I’m just tired. Let’s see how long I can stay awake to get an easy start with the jet lag.

Slightly anxious about the border procedures, but looking forward to seeing all you awesome people again. Wish me luck!
Why pay more for less? My online #DDD workshop goes deeper, lasts longer, and costs less than a typical conference workshop—plus, you’re learning from the guy who wrote the book.

It should be recognized that reducing a team's cognitive load includes speaking the same language as the business in specific contexts.
The cognitive energy required to translate from business concepts to technical concepts, and technical concepts to business concepts, is enormous.
Do you need to reduce cognitive load? Start with a common language. #DDDesign #DDD #DomainDrivenDesign
Will AI untangle your Big Ball of Mud?
Can it identify your Bounded Contexts?
Can it architect your systems with clarity and purpose?
Not yet. But "Implementing Domain-Driven Design" (DDD) will.
Learning is essential—but applying that knowledge is what truly transforms your organization. Are you ready to put your knowledge to work?
Join me for hands-on learning to tackle complexity.

At DDDEU24, Eric Evans speculated about how DDD and AI would work together. He said to all of us to go out there, try things out and come back next year with our reports and our experiences. I am so excited to see that people went out and actually did that. We have some lovely proposals on how AI and DDD can go together. #domaindrivendesign #dddesign #dddeu

There are so many good proposals for @dddeu again this year! We have over 450 submissions and it is an honour to be part of the team that creates the program for our first Antwerp edition.

Tomorrow we are running a workshop on Team Topologies in Virtual Domain-driven design and Domain-Driven Design Australia
We had to close registration a week+ ago because we have over 100 people registered combined.
This high number of signups talk about the problems we have in industry and the solutions we think might serve us.
Thanks a million to Luke McManus , Andy Spamer for running the workshop. Sonal Premi and Chris Simon for co-hosting. There might be more people we are yet to thank ...
It already has been an amazing learning experience, I can not wait to see how tomorrow goes.
If you are attending tomorrow you should know we are trying hard to make sure it's a great experience and that we have not run with such high numbers before, here goes to an exciting experiment!
I will be hosting Sonya Natanzon & Vlad Khononov for Complexity & Modularity: the Yin and Yang of Socio-Technical Design.
Join us online at 6pm UTC+0 on Tue 25th Feb.
But here's the deal: Trying to introduce #DomainDrivenDesign? It's like convincing your friend who lives on takeout and Netflix to embrace whole foods, green smoothies, and – hold your breath – regular exercise. Forget the quick fixes. DDD is about the long game. It's the daily grind, the real, often unglamorous work of building a truly robust system.
You DESIGN it, you BUILD it, you RUN it!
I'm just at #ManuSec (a #Cybersecurity conference focused on manufacturing/ #OtSecurity )
A lot of discussion focuses on finding a common language between IT and OT.
This reminds me so much of the #UbiquitousLanguage of #DomainDrivenDesign (#DDD)
I expect that we will discover that this only works in a #BoundedContext (sadly I fear we will need 5-10 years for that
