Sure, there are certain self-imposed restrictions governing when they're allowed to do this, but they're pretty open ended, such that they could potentially justify taking anything from your farm in Limpopo to your flat in Germiston to your house in Alberton, to your business, your car....
All in the names of #LandReform and redistribution of #wealth. Effectively, if you've got it and they want it, they can take it. Oh, and if it's bonded/under mortgage at the time they take it, you have to keep paying it off.
