Anyone else had issues with Metatext on iOS crashing or otherwise misbehaving, especially when writing multi-post toots? It ate one of mine yesterday that I had spent a long time on and now I am leery of writing anything that’s too long.

Does anyone know an #Accessible #app for #fedi that supports go to social and works on iPhone? Mona excluded. Can't afford and is too complicated for me. #Feditext and #MetaText have no way to hide cws with voiceover rotor actions, so that's a dealbreaker. Looking for something, as #Toot! is not updated, and is eating up too much battery. Thank you in advance.

Feditext beta users: version 1.7.2 build 137, now on TestFlight, fixes the crash on iPads running iPadOS 18 that made most iPad Feditext users, well, unable to use Feditext.

Does anyone know what happened to FediText? Mine just stopped working … and so did its older sibling Metatext.

I’ve been trying other apps and hoping FediText would start working again… but no luck so far.

So for the most part, my foray into #Friendica seems to be going well. There are two questions I have though.
First, is it not possible for people who aren't on Friendica, or even #Mastodon, to follow a Friendica profile even if they're not on the Fediverse?
Second, are there any #iOS fedi apps that actually work with Friendica? I tried to set #Metatext up with it, but I keep getting "The operation couldn't be completed." Is that a problem with Metatext or the server I'm on?

Feditext beta users: yesterday's version 1.7.2 build 129 includes fixes to our Spanish translation (contributed by <https://wetdry.world/@nelson>) and our Polish translation (contributed by <https://github.com/matpl11>).

Feditext beta users: today's version 1.7.2 build 126 now supports editing posts on GotoSocial 0.18 (already supported for most other Fedi servers).

since GtS 0.18 is still in development, this release is recommended for advanced GtS users only: you need to explicitly set a version like 0.18.0-dev while building GtS for Feditext to detect and enable 0.18 features.

users of current GtS or other servers don't need to update to today's Feditext release.

Ich nutze #Metatext.
Seit einiger Zeit werden mir mit „@….“ keine Benutzerprofile mehr vorgeschlagen. Liegt das an der App, an der Instanz @ordnung oder haben wir ein Layer 8 Problem?
