I am not that active these days, but when I saw it I was really excited: #Fodongo zine has gone to "annual subscription" plan, apart from the donations and per issue support!! And not just digital, but physical and the paper smell and feeling is so good :3

What is the best place to create a gallery / database of CC-licensed art to make it easily searchable?
I'm thinking about gathering all the #solarpunk #art I commissioned - or from the artists I know and putting it in one place.
I know of Wikimedia Commons, but the search engines don't promote it that well. I also don't know how to create a "curated" gallery / collection there.

Bluelining has started! Two panels proved more challenging than I actually thought, but being my very first ever action sequence I'm quite satisfied :)
I'm curious to see, how I'll fill the empty space in the final panel... Should I go with details or some screentone to capture the moment

Inking is done! Utterly, and completely done.
I am very very pleased and excited and bamboozled with how it turned out the way it did, but environment, and motion/feeling of the prison turned out really good!
Screentoning will be presented with this 3-pages release on the corresponding #fodongo zine issue :)
Next on the list: 3rd and final page bluelining! Where things get really really serious....
Page 2 update:
Inking has started!
The light of the alarm might need some improvement but I'll see how that goes...
The alarm sound effect took some time to figure out... I think it corresponds well to a red alert kind of an alarm?
I discovered that ink quality plays an important role on fine lining... I used the old one I had on a new bristol paper and I saw some bleeding (the ink flows a bit outward from the initial line done with the nib), which made the lines quite meh and uncontrolled. Will use a new japanese one so maaaaybe there will be some inking variance on the page... Hopefully it will be unnoticeable in the final result :P

Nearly done with blue lining!
It took me quite some time to get the man's face right... in order to look the same as the one in page 1 :P
I still need to figure out the details on the final panel with the dude coming out of a cell, though...
And then it's inking time!

Ladies and gents and everyone else!
Inking of this page is finally done!! Maybe I'll add some fines lines via hatching for extra effect here and there but it's done :D
Tools used: menso brush for the heavy inking with gear and blackness of space, and g-pen nib :) (scissors and glue and another brush and white ink for corrections, I hate to admit XD)
Next step is going to be digitization and adding screentones but I will not share that because it's not traditional and I like to stick to showing only traditional process, and mostly because this work will be published in #fodongo zine soon, so it's a sly way to push you to read it there and support it 
Next steps: page 2 and 3!! :D Stay tuned!! :D

Slow progress but quite some improvement!
(I still have a LOT to learn and figure out on facial expressions and mouth/lips movement

Finished with blue pencil backbone of the page and now I went to inking. It's the first time I actually tried using g-pen for a comic other than generally doing hatching and line exercises...
I realized it gives compleeeetely different feeling to a brush... So much fine lining is extremely stressful XD Hence the crap quality of some lines and the corrections you see... But I'll get there!

New #introduction as I change the focus of my profile (a bit).
Hello and welcome to my space!
N (ン) Toyohito (豊人) is my pen name! I am an amateur traditional manga/comic creator. I'm very new to this as I started about 9 months ago, even though since I was in high-school I wanted to do my own comic.
Main focus is to share:
* my art journey as I try to improve my skills.
* my big dream of a manga series, #Antumbra
* other comics and sketches I might do.
In all cases I will add the whole process of creation, from extremely crappy drafts to the end result.
And my works will always be CC-BY-SA, as #freeculture / #openculture is something that will embetter creativity and expression in general.

Worked on panel structure since flow/readability works good enough. Also did some sketches to figure out the posture/movement of the prison to give a vile, angry, scary effect.
