@JVWest To me they're all the same kind of thing, but I know 90%+ of the RPG industry doesn't agree.
Back in the '70s, every RPG had some pinup art, Eldritch Wizardry had a naked chick on an altar! Every Conan & ripoff comic had all-but-naked dudes & chicks, because sexy fantasy violence is the genre.
And then AD&D 2nd Ed, they neutered themselves and made Larry Elmore draw clothes on his girls

Should I change to another instance of Mastodon? I landed here initially because it was the first suggestion. No shade or anything, just how it was.
I only ask because while I certainly do a lot #TTRPG stuff, I also do a lot of #PinupArt stuff, often raw and rude. Those two worlds have some overlap, but certainly not 100%. I'm CERTAIN there are gaming folks who like my work in Black Pudding or The Pool but are not into pinup art at all.
I dunno. Just thinking out loud. Open to thoughts.
This sketch is heavily influenced by an illustration found in 'The Smart Set' magazine, originating around 1923 or perhaps earlier (my memory's a bit fuzzy!). It not only nods to the artistic style and themes of that era but also incorporates a touch of my usual style and usual goofy execution, adding a playful twist to the homage.
