Today we achieved the impossible - cycling the school run in the snow! We saw others doing this impossible feat as well. Yet, apparantly no-one will cycle in the snow!

(Studded tyres might've been useful on some deeper sections, mind)

Today's example of #SchoolRun #Motornormativity - a driver seemingly on autopilot:

Driver parked in space puts car into reverse but with no sign of moving as we pedestrians approach to pass behind. Assuming driver is waiting, we continue (but alert). As we start to pass, driver starts reversing. I call out, say "wait your turn". He says, "not a designated path; wind your neck in".

Driver seems unaware of the Highway Code hierarchy, and assumes his "right" trumps everyone else.

It's that time again! Last year, two schools in Nuneaton took part in the Sustrans Big Walk And Wheel - Whitestone Infant School and Chetwynd Junior School. Will they do so again, and who will join them?
