Missouri house passes amendment re-establishing abortion ban

In addition to the abortion language, the proposed amendment also would place in the constitution a ban on transgender youth accessing gender-affirming health care.

In November, Missouri voters approved an amendment to the state's constitution that provided the right to reproductive freedom, legalizing abortion. Yesterday, the House Republicans voted to essentially repeal that, making abortion illegal in Missouri again, with limited exceptions. Here's more from St. Louis Public Radio.

I did a heavier amount of digital restoration to this image and I thought people might like to see what the scan looked like without any edits. (I am not a professional artist or restorer. Public service announcement for my Missouri and Metro East friends. The Arnold Police Dept bought themselves a tricked out 2025 Ford Mustang in white with black cowl induction scoop on the hood. It's being used between Imperial Main St and Meramec Bottoms Rd on I-55 for interdictions.

It has no markings you can visibly see until you get really close to it making it impossible to spot as a cop car until it's too late.
