@atpfm #askatp Do you use tools like AlDente or Battery (https://github.com/actuallymentor/battery) to manually limit the charging level on “desktop MacBooks”?
@atpfm Thanks for picking that up on the show. For me, the macOS included charge limiter only works for one day. If plugged in over night, I wake up to a fully charged MacBook.

I submitted FB6888970 "Add setting for charging to maximum battery percentage (iOS)" in August 2019 ... and in 2021 asked: For macOS "Limit battery charge to 80%" would work really nice. I would like the MacBook never charge more than 80% only when I click on "Charge to Full Now"... didn't know AlDente/Battery exist. For iOS i have an automation that says "80%" when the charge level reaches 80% (and do not charge during nigh).
