But the platform didn’t remove the offensive and bogus post. “Tech companies haven't put that necessary level of investment into stopping the problem,” Stephen Noe writes for the @SportingNews: “As a result, deepfakes continue to flood social media sites. The problem affects wide swaths of women — six percent of American teens have been targeted by an AI nudifier, according to one recent study.” Here is Noe’s article in its entirety:

The Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) has developed a method to recognise #deepfakes. This can be done through #blood flow detection, or the human heartbeat. With every #heartbeat, the tiny veins under your eyes and in your face dilate slightly. That causes a small colour difference in the face. The #NFI can detect this. This changing blood flow is absent in faces in deepfakes.
