2024 war das sechste Jahr in Folge mit extremen Abweichungen im #Wasserkreislauf. Hauptursache ist laut WMO der #Klimawandel.

Wärmere Meere und Luft verstärken #Verdunstung und #Niederschläge. Ein Drittel der europäischen Flüsse überschritt die #Hochwassergrenze. Gleichzeitig litten Regionen wie Südamerika unter Wasserknappheit.
