floEinkaufsstraßen in Lahore / Pakistan: Kleine Geschäfte mit offenen Fronten, kleine Stände, mit allerlei verschiedenen Waren, belebte Straßen, Menschen im Gespräch. Einkaufsstraßen bei uns: Geschäfte mit geschlossenen Fronten aus Glas und Stahl, teilweise 150 m lang, wie mehrere REWE-Läden in der Stadt, mitunter Autos, die die Straßen entlang parken, Menschen huschen eilig vorbei, an diesen Stätten, die wir "Konsumtempel" nennen, niemand auf der Straße spricht miteinander. Das muss dieser "zivilisierte Westen" sein, oder?
