#oppression

I can't think of any better time in history than now to form #militias.

...The #SecondAmendment was based partially on the right to keep and bear arms in English common law and was influenced by the English Bill of Rights 1689. Sir William Blackstone described this right as an auxiliary right, supporting the natural rights of self-defense and resistance to #oppression, and the civic duty to act in concert in defense of the state...

People fighting against #fascism, #queerphobia, #xenophobia, #fundamentalism, #oppression, etc. really have one enemy:

#capitalism

There is no minority liberation without working class liberation.

That said, class fighters should never punch sideways against minorities.

Because there is no class liberation without minority liberation either.

We should protest, make us heard. But we should consider striking because that will break the system (proven).

Its of no use to be equally exploited.

The #US government now does #bisexual #erasure. Lying about #trans people wasn’t enough, apparently.

The worst fear of every queerphobe is when cis hetero people start to feel empathy and solidarity with the #LGBTQ+ instead of hatred. That’s why they want to bury the truth. Because if the truth is out, the anti-LGBTQ+ #propaganda might stop working.

This is small, but feels right.

I’ve been trying to use “enslaved” instead of “slave.” For example “enslaved people in America” or “enslaved labor.” I noticed many Black folks making this subtle change so I followed their cue.

I believe it matters because “slave” names someone by definition, whereby “enslaved” names their situation.

Would you rather be noted as a slave or a person who was enslaved?

(I’m writing a chapter in my book about this.)
