I’m not sure how this record is looked at in the UK, but in North America, I feel it doesn’t receive anywhere near the credit it deserves.When looking back on that whole decade, I feel that because it came BEFORE the “alternative music as mainstream” revolution, it’s not given anywhere near as many flowers as certain other albums that are FAR inferior.My Bloody Valentine’s Loveless gets its overrated ass kissed on a regular basis, but THIS gem predates it, and in my opinion, is a far more effective foundation for <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/shoegaze" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#shoegaze</a> , or whatever stupid name you want to call it.
