Paul Chambers🚧
The Save Act. my wife will have to jump through hoops or just not feck'n vote, which is what the GOP wants.

So, this #SaveAct law that the GOP is trying to do has us a little concerned.

Now, get this, my 65-year-old wife's middle name has a female and male spelling.

On her birth certificate, it is spelled with the male spelling but everything else, driver's license, ssa card, etc, ended up with the female spelling somehow and it has been like that for 65 years.

Also,
This is how our marriage license goes,

Penny's last name goes
maiden, then first married name then my last name (second marriage)

In none of the court orders from her divorce over 35-years ago does it address her right to use her ex-husbands last name. When she got her marriage license for our marriage, she used that name.

So, we have to address her middle name on her ID's, lord knows what SSA will involve and create a legal paper trail from her maiden name, to first married last name to her current last name (mine) or just not feck'n vote, which is what they want.

#USPol #Elections
https://www.npr.org/2025/04/13/g-s1-59684/save-act-married-women-vote-rights-explained
