I impulse bought the thing.
Will mess with it later.

“PebbleOS on Bangle.js Smartwatch demo" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_U5xZiBUGc #pebble #banglejs2 #smartwatch #opensource
One of the things I hate about a #smartwatch is that I have to charge it. I forget to put it back on all the time. I just set a reminder in my #todo app to put it back on in a bit. That got me thinking though, there has to be a way for #gadgetbridge to notify my phone that my #banglejs2 watch is done charging. Time to start digging another #rabbithole!
My tech #hobby #goals for this month are: 1. Replace Zapier with something #selfhosted. 2. Make my #banglejs2 watch better in three different ways.
I only use 1 "zap" on Zapier but I use it so much I'm not in their free tier... My goal for my #watch is just because I've not done much with it since I've had it the last few months. I stopped wearing it it for a month cause it seemed to irritate my skin... Trying it again to see what happens.
I'm finally backing up my #banglejs2 after having it for a few months. I had a #goal to backup several things by the end of the month. Next goal will be to automate what I can. That'll give me a change to learn #python a bit.
Hmmm Alright, I fell for a bangle.js 2 smart watch
Pros: privacy respecting smart watch, doesn't send your stuff to any cloud
Sunlight readable, 4 week battery life, JavaScript, and tons of free apps
Cons: haven't found any yet

Ooh my retro #bangleJS watch face is now live on the official app loader! It uses Büro Destruct's version of the classic Gemini font, and inspired by their Pebble watch faces.
