LionelBYet another Dark-banded bee fly. They are extremely abundant this year. I had no idea though that the little Platycheirus albimanus (I think) hoverfly was present. With the shallow depth of field, they must be almost touching. The Eristalis were also hovering but at around 1.7m and kept close to the hedge.
