lisa c<p>Getting ready for my first Amtrak trip in five months, wake up at 4:30, everything's on schedule - 10 minutes later alert that there's a disruption. Call Amtrak and talk to a fantastic agent who is reading the notes in the system to me, powerlines down across tracks north of Chico and *PG&E* does not have a bucket truck available for a few hours so as of now it's a 3-4 hour delay. This is train travel in the US.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Amtrak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Amtrak</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Trains" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Trains</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PGESucks" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PGESucks</span></a></p>
