Picked this up for a song on eBay, so to speak. Ives was a frequent visitor to the UK and a popular performer here, so it's no surprise that there was a British printing of this music collection. Circa 1952, although no printing date appears. The tunes are arranged for ukulele tuned in D (ADF#B), which was more common then than it is now. Gives sopranos especially a bright, snappy sound.

André De Toth's Day of the Outlaw (1959), a fine intelligent complex 50s western. Starts as a typical "ranchers against farmers" story with a romantic triangle and becomes something quite different. Fine performance by Tina Louise.
