Ocean Race: Malizia triumphiert in Genua - wird 11th Hour Gesamtsieger?
Die 14. Auflage des Ocean Race ist nach fast sechs Monaten zumindest auf See so gut wie beendet. Boris Herrmanns Team Malizia feierte auf dem siebten und letzten Teilstück von Den Haag nach Genua den zweiten Etappensieg und schaffte mit Platz drei den Sprung aufs Podium.
Über den Gesamtsieg wird noch entschieden, der Gewinner dürfte 11th Hour Racing heißen.

Eine Gruppe von Schwertwalen hat zwei Boote beim Ocean Race umkreist und vereinzelt gerammt. »Das war beeindruckend, aber auch beängstigend«, sagt Skipper Jelmer van Beek. Der Vorfall hat auch sportliche Auswirkungen. Eine Gruppe von Orcas hat auf der Schlussetappe des Segelrennens Ocean Race gleich zwei Boote zu einem Stopp gezwungen.

The Ocean Race Kiel Fly-By
Das waren drei wunderschöne Tage an der Kiellinie!
Bereits am Donnerstag haben soo viele kleine und große Kreative mit uns am #Meeresschutztag für den Cinemare Stop Motion Film gebastelt und natürlich Filme geschaut.
Am Freitag war es dann soweit und die IMOCA's sind an der Kiellinie vorübergeflogen - einfach toll!
Danke an den THW Kiel, dass wir mitsegeln durften!!
