Gothy song of the day: Pictureplane - Heaven is a State of Mind
Another awesome recommendation pull, I can't ever get enough of dark synth bangers

Vaporwave album of the day: slowerpace 音楽 – SUNSET RIDER
another new barber beats release from slowerpace my beloved
they never disappoint, and i do need chill beats more than ever, so this is very welcome
Gothy song of the day: Automelodi - Cavallo
I love Automelodi so much. All their songs feel so meticulously well designed, and every synth and sample feel like they have so much purpose. They feel like a genuine 80s new wave art band, and also a modern project at the same time.
Absolute banger
Goth album of the day: Rosetta Stone - Nothing Is Sacred
I've always considered Rosetta Stone as the goth band that sounded the closest to Sisters of Mercy, and you especially heard that in their two most recent albums. However, with this new album full of cover songs released in February, they took that up to 11. The sound is so uncannily close to FALAA and pre-FALAA era SoM songs that it boggles my mind, and I love it.
The Sisters did a lot of covers in the 80s and 90s that are now available as bootlegs, and this entire release sounds like something they would make, minus the low quality recording and Andrew Eldritch. Absolute gold.

Goth song of the night: Cult Club & Zanias - Play with Lies
A random golden find of the day. The bass... the bass!!!!
It's like Mick Karn has come back to life!! god i love this
Goth song of the day: The Sisters of Mercy - Black Planet
Tune in, turn on, burn out in the acid rain...
Sisters of Mercy is probably the most important classic goth band to me personally - I've listened to them my entire life, and going to their gig in Warsaw in 2017 cemented me entering the goth subculture, which changed my life for the better forever.
I've been informed that today is the 40th anniversary of them releasing their first album, so, here's Black Planet, where the line in my bio and on one of the patches on my battlejacket comes from
Goth song of the night: French Police - Club De Vampiros
Can never get enough of goth songs about vampires
Goth song of the day: The Bedroom Witch - My Only
I randomly stumbled upon an article on this track on post-punk dot com, and I'm surprised I haven't found this project earlier, considering I'm usually a hound for queer gothy bands
An absolute banger of a track about self-sabotage, by Iranian-American trans woman. An easy recommendation from me
Song of the night: Nine Inch Nails - While I'm Still Here
Goodnight folks, stay safe and hang in there
