A quick #recommendation for you guys if you live in or visit #vienna and want to go to an #irishpub

#Bockshorn in the first district. (Oldest irish pub in vienna)
I love this place it got a cosy atmosphere good #Guinness and the barkeepers are nice and mainly speak #English. So no worries. Also a lot of people from international places sit there and are very welcome to chat with.
Just be aware that the pub is very small and just a couple of people can make it very crowded.

"Early Morning Early Spring" ... my latest ... A street scene in beautiful #CharlesTown #WestVirginia captures a row of red brick buildings partially obscured by lush trees with light green and golden leaves. Soft morning sunlight filters through the foliage, casting dappled shadows on the buildings and highlighting the entrance to #PaddysIrishPub, a favorite local watering hole. I digitally hand painted this image in #CorelPainter using my own photo as a starting point (not from stock or public domain) ... no Ai programs used.

No idea what happened to a post I had this morning, but in recognition of St. Patrick's Day, I have a sign from an Irish pub @ grill to share, Collins. I didn't get to go there and it was good to know that sometime when I get up there next to Flagstaff, I will try it out. I dearly miss "my" Rúla Búla Irish restaurant I went to for over 20 years, Tempe Arizona. It closed and I'll never see the likes of it again. Every St. Patrick's Day, I and my brothers and sisters would each get our own limerick written for us by my full Irish grandfather. It was very special and I still have some saved to this day! Anyway, perhaps my post will wink at any who know this place up North. #IrishPub #Flagstaff #Arizona #RulaBula #Tempe

Inzwischen würde ich in #Bonn das #FlynnsInn dem #QuietMan als echten #IrishPub vorziehen.

Im Gegensatz zum QM ist dort die Einrichtung noch alt und zusammengewürfelt, und der ganze Laden ist so richtig gemütlich und entspannt. Die Bierauswahl umfasst außer dem üblichen auch Sorten von #AleMania (mit 5,90 für 0,5l relativ günstig).

Am frühen Abend können schon mal alle Tische von den Fans von Fish&Chips reserviert sein.

Gestern Abend vor etwa 31 Jahren stand ich mit dem Lenzi mal wieder auf der Winzbühne des Shamrock Irish Pub in München Schwabing. Danach war das gesamte Equipment und die Kleidung überzogen mit einer klebrigen Mischung aus Bier, kaltem Rauch und Frittierfett.
Wir haben uns dadurch eine Routine erschrammelt, die man durch nichts ersetzen kann.

Das Ohrdröhnen nach jedem Gig und den daraus resultierenden Tinitus hätt ich mir allerdings gern erspart.

Ich stehe mit Gitarre am Micro auf einer kleinen Bühne, neben mir Andreas Lenz am Keyboard. Vor mir auf einem Hocker ein Glas Guiness.

Caught up with a 1990s college classmate at a historic #IrishPub from 1743 near Philly that we used to close up one night a week for several years. It’s been completely redone and modernized. Im #IrishPub und Kopfhörer vergessen.
Und das, was ich am wenigsten leiden kann, maximal konzentriert: Viele Menschen und Musik (letzteres mag ich zwar, kommt natürlich drauf an, was, aber nur, wenn ich es selbst kontrollieren kann).

Da muss ich wohl umso mehr trinken, um das ertragen zu können.
