Schon lange vorgenommen und heute endlich gemacht: "Der Große Diktator" von 1940 angeschaut. Charlie Chaplin macht sich gekonnt über Hitler/Hinkel, Göring/Hering, Goebbels/Gorbitsch und die Nazis lustig und thematisiert die Verfolgung der Juden. Ein großartiger Film!

Auf dem Weg nach Retz keine besonderen Vorkommnisse, nur ein wenig Matsch nach dem Regen der letzten Tage und ein schon deutlich spürbarer Vorfrühling mit Schneeglöckerl und Bärlauch. Rückfahrt mit dem Zug, wie immer, der jetzt neuerdings nicht mehr in Retz abfährt, sondern in Unterretzbach, was sicher die Handvoll Leute, die dort hin wollen, freut, uns aber frostige 15 Minuten auf dem Bahnsteig einbringt, denn es ist ja erst Vorfrühling und da darf es um 16 Uhr schon etwas kühler sein.
Im Zug gibt es dann eine Standpauke, die sich gewaschen hat. Nein, nicht für uns, wir sind ja brav. Die Adressaten der Standpauke sind zwei Kinder, die nach Abfertigung des Zuges noch die Tür […]
