7.37 Ma Stork flies in with nesting material. Pa Stork stands and flies off. The storklets are still asleep! Ma Stork waits for them to wake up and then serves breakfast.

Okay, der Aufwand hat sich jetzt nicht ganz so richtig gelohnt. Aber ich wollte halt mal von oben auf das Storchennest schauen. Ich die Kamera an einer Stange befestigt und diese wiederum am Teleskopladerarm, den ich bis zum Anschlag ausgefahren habe. Sobald die Jungen geschlüpft sind, versuche ich es noch einmal mit einer längeren Stange. 🙂

16.01-16.04 Changing of the guard on the nest: Pa Stork (who you can recognise by the two loose black feathers on his right side) flies in and preens himself. Ma Stork stands up, revealing the two storklets that she's keeping warm, and flies off to get more supplies.
