Microsoft has countless intentions to invade people's privacy (often without user even realizing).

Soon Microsoft indeed wants to add a "Recall" function to Windows 11 to take screenshots continuously (!) Is this OK..?

Linux is also a mainstream gaming platform now 😎

Many ponder a Linux switch -- Google Trends shows a spike for "Linux", "Ubuntu", etc. :thinkhappy:

To add: recent faulty Windows security update (CrowdStrike) took out banks, airlines & big companies worldwide via update *with Linux OS's not impacted*

::: LINUX IN THE WILD - "Weird Linux benefits" :ablobcatrave:

The OP stated:

"What I notice with Linux. I get somehow better audio like its more clear and better sound. I don't know how but I'm 100% sure I get better sound.

Some native Windows games I swear work even better on Linux and it's more stable for me.

There is also one weird thing that I can't explain but my eyes hurt less about 70%.

For some reason on Windows my eyes are burning even if I use the same apps and everything but still the issue is there."

So, what do YOU think? Had similar experiences after moving on from Windows to Linux? :thinkhappy:

Wine 7.21 released!

More goodies are in the post to enable gaming Windows-only games on Linux - this work of course benefits Steam's Proton dimension :linux:

The development got the PE work finished! - An important piece.

But PE what? PE (Portable Executable) is to follow closer with how Windows does things, to improve compatibility, and as a benefit it could also allow WoW64 without 32-bit dependencies.

(Wow64.dll provides the core emulation infrastructure and the thunks for the Ntoskrnl.exe entry-point functions.)

Also the preparing for Vulkan 32bit on 64 bit has started.
