something I've been thinking about for a while, and the reason that my spoutible (and my bluesky) isn't agenderfox

when I first started thinking about my gender, it was very exciting and I was looking at lots of new words, trying to precisely categorize my gender ... and failing

after a while, I realized that, practically, it didn't really matter. I knew that I was:
a) not a woman
b) not a man
c) not a mix of both feminine and masculine
and for daily life stuff, that's really all I needed. I chose agender as my "gender" sort of politically. like "oh, I'm agender, please don't use 'sir' or 'ma'am' for me" or "please use 'person' for me instead of 'woman' or 'man'; I'm agender" (not that I've ever said anything like that to complete strangers, but )
